Supervised Visitation

  • Contracted with CBC of Seminole County and Children's Home Society
Levels of Supervised Visitation
  • Level I: observe child and visiting parent in a safe and secure environment. Intervene when child may be at risk. Document interactions after the visitation. Supervisor will have experience working with children and parents
  • Level II: observe child and visiting parent and intervene when parenting skills need to be addressed. Supervisor will have experience working with children and parents and has demonstrated that he/she has appropriate parenting skills 
  • Level III: observe child and visiting parent and incorporate therapeutiv skills during the session and afterward. Discuss feelings and emotions and any roarblocls that may interfere in future sessions. Supervisor will have a master's degree  in social work, mental health, marriage and family counseling or be licensed in the healing arts
Areas of Interest
  • Will consult with attorneys, GALs, DCF and case managers.
  • Will read and prepare reports
  • Will provide in office or off site visitation (if appropriate)
  • Will assess and evaluate clients
  • Will strictly adhere to Court Orders
